Basic Shared Dolphins Tour + Lunch
Overview
The trip starts at 08:00 am in the morning at La Preuneuse Rivière Noire (Tour Martello) where our team will give you a small briefing session about the activity after which you will be taken to Tamarin Bay which is now worldwide known as the Dolphin Sanctuary. You will have the opportunity to meet the bottle-nose dolphins also known as Tursiop Truncatus dolphins during a snorkelling session. After that, you will be served a delicious lunch at Ile aux Bénitiers.

The Bottlenose Dolphins are well known as the intelligent and charismatic stars of many Worldwide aquarium Show. The curved mouths give the apearance of a friendly, permanent smile and they can be trained to perform complex tricks. These dolphins live in small pods of up to 12 whales, they are very social and friendly animals. Often, many pods of group together to form congregations of hundreds of dolphins. They can dive down to more than 1,000 feet (300m) and can jump up to 20 feet (6m) out of the water.
The Spinner dophins are small dophins in off-shore tropical waters around the world. They are famous for their acrobatic displays in which they spin along their longitudinal axis as they leaps through the air. They are members of the Delphinidae family of toothed whales. Spinner dolphins adults are typically 129-235 cm long and reach a body mass of 23-79 kg. This species has an elogated rostrum and a triangular or subtriangular dorsal fin. They generally have tripartite color patterns. The dorsal area is dark gray, the sides light gray and the underside pale gray or white. Also, a Dark band runs from the eye to the flipper, bordered above by a thin, light line.
